8 Best Moments From ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season Two

#6. Elijah knocks off Trevor’s head: We didn’t get to know Rose’s (Lauren Cohan) BFF Trevor (Trent Ford) very well before he met his untimely demise on the Nov. 4 episode, but at least his death gave us a killer introduction to the baddie that is Elijah (Daniel Gillies.) My jaw is STILL on the floor!

“September Dawn” Now Available on the iTunes Movie Store

September Dawn, the latest romance by Christopher Cain, is now available from the iTunes Movie Store. The title is available for $9.99. A preview of the movie is also available on Apple’s website.

The movie’s written description is, “Academy Award® winner Jon Voight, Terence Stamp and Trent Ford star in this film based on the true story of the Mountain Meadows Massacre – the brutal murder of 120 men, women and children on September 11, 1857 as their wagon train passed through Utah on its way to California. The question of whether the attack was carried out by local Paiute Indians or by a renegade sect of the Mormon church remains unresolved to this day. Set against the breathtaking beauty of the Utah mountains, September Dawn explores what might have happened when the ill-fated settlers stopped near Cedar City to rest before completing the last leg of their journey. Local Mormon Bishop Jacob Samuelson (Voight) is suspicious of the group, so he dispatches his oldest son Jonathan (Ford) to spy on them. Jonathan soon falls in love with an angelic member of the wagon train, the minister’s daughter Emily (Tamara Hope), and is horrified when he discovers that his father thinks the settlers are enemies of the church and is planning an attack on them. While Jonathan makes plans to escape with Emily, his father sets in motion a chain of events, fueled by revenge and fanaticism, which culminates in a violent and tragic ambush.”

‘Diaries’ Producer Reveals Plot Twist

Julie Plec has revealed that Trevor will be returning on The Vampire Diaries.

The executive producer on the CW series spoke to Show Tracker about the second season’s remaining episodes, stating that Trevor, played by Trent Ford, will be making another appearance in the show despite being beheaded by Elijah earlier in the run.

“We will be seeing Trevor again this year,” said Plec, who declared that the vampire would be returning in an upcoming flashback episode.

Plec went on to reveal when the villain Klaus would appear, saying that she is thrilled by the casting of British actor Joseph Morgan.

“It’s episode 19, which is the first time we meet Klaus,” said Plec. “We’re also going back into the past.

“You always need your villains to have multiple layers and to be able to kill you with kindness as much as they can kill you with violence. I think Joseph really represents that.”

Show star Ian Somerhalder, who plays the vampire Damon Salvatore, has previously stated that he too is excited for Klaus to make an appearance.

“I think everyone’s on their toes now more. Because he’s a badass,” he said.

The Vampire Diaries returns on April 7 at 8pm on The CW.

Executive Producer Julie Plec Teases Return

There’s a silver lining to death on the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.” A stake to the heart or a brutal neck snap doesn’t mean viewers will never see a beloved character again. And in the case of Rose’s (Lauren Cohan) platonic companion Trevor (Trent Ford), even a beheading by Elijah (Daniel Gillies) won’t keep him away.

“We will be seeing Trevor again this year,” executive producer Julie Plec revealed to Show Tracker during an interview. But even “Vampire Diaries” can’t perform miracles, so the character won’t be coming back from the dead. Instead, the return appearance will come during a format that fans of the show know all too well for period garb and revealing truths. Yes, another flashback episode is on its way!

“It’s Episode 19, which is the first time we meet Klaus,” explained Plec. “We’re also going back into the past.”
